Ukraine Kyiv Pavilion celebrates our cultural diversity and promotes cultural understanding.
Ukraine Kyiv Pavilion, in harmony with Folklorama leadership, promotes the ethno-cultural diversity of Manitoba through entertainment and public celebrations of Ukrainian culture and education. We provide an opportunity for the Ukrainian community to promote and celebrate their intangible culture. We will understand and respond to the expectations of our community and the public, to be leaders throughout the festival. We will respect and recognize the contributions of our volunteers and will create an environment that inspires collaboration, growth, innovation, joy, and a sense of belonging.
Ukraine Kyiv Pavilion honours the amazing beauty, strong and resilient identity, cherished heritage, rich history, and vibrant culture of Ukraine, which spans over 1,000 years and is rooted in ancient traditions and folk art.
The Pavilion acknowledges and humbly celebrates the legacy of our ancestors, whose contributions of hard work, incredible talents, passion, and distinct culture has helped to shape our community and influence the world. We deeply treasure our Ukrainian roots and homeland and are dedicating revenues from this year’s Pavilion to support humanitarian aid efforts and assisting Ukrainians arriving in Canada.
